Adaptive Climbing

Society Wheelchairs has teamed up with Canadian Adaptive Climbing and Calgary Climbing Centre to start an inclusive climbing program in Calgary.

Climbing is an amazing resource for rehabilitation, self awareness, new friendships, and new support systems.

Climbing with an SCI injury may seem unmanageable to those in the community. However, our program aims to provide a learning experience with assistive climbing systems to support your climbing experience.

Trek2Tuk4Kids

Society Wheelchairs CEO, Kevin Priebe, has partnered with RAD Society CEO, Tanelle Bolt, to raise awareness and support for Trek2Tuk4Kids by participating in a 150km journey from Inuvik to Tuktoyaktuk.

Trek2Tuk4Kids is an event dedicated to improving the lives of youth in Canada's Arctic. All proceeds raised by the event will be donated to student wellness and enrichment programs.

Our trek has now been postponed due to COVID-19. Stay tuned for more updates!
